Description

The Upper West Side is a largely residential area populated by families and young professionals. A generally expensive area, stunning pre-war landmark buildings along the park, and walk ups and newer condominiums closer to the Hudson River make up the architecture of the neighborhood. It offers a much quieter and more refined lifestyle than the buzzing activity of midtown.  Central Park and Riverside Park offer convenient locations for outdoor recreations, while the Museum of Natural History, Lincoln Center, The Beacon Theatre, The New York Historical Society, and the Manhattan Children’s Museum offer plentiful cultural opportunities. Stellar schools such as the Manhattan Day School and Julliard are also nearby.  Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues have countless restaurants, bars, lounges, and entertainment venues.  Bounded by 59th St. (excluding Columbus Circle) to 110th St., Central Park West to Hudson River.
